I can't tell you how excited I was when a heatwave spread throughout the valley. Last weekend it was 95 degrees. 95 DEGREES IN APRIL. Most people complain of sweating, melting, and possibly smelling like a sweaty human. I LOVE ALL OF IT. When it's winter time, my bones shake and rattle because of my constant shivering. I was not meant for winter, although I love the atmosphere, I just cannot handle the icy weather.

I cheated and used my swimsuit as a top. These photos don't do it justice, it's actually a dirty gold metallic kinda color. Super awesomeness.

ALSO! Jessica from Fashion Me A Smile did a drawing of me as well as an interview along with a handful of other bloggers in March. I must be honest, I completely forgot until now! THANK YOU SO MUCH JESSICA. Sorry for being a late dweeb!

These Days

I could obviously say all the cliche things in the world right now regarding my overdue absence but alas, real life catches up and takes over and that is my reason. So there. Getting promoted, settling into an apartment, dealing with relationship neuroses, and finding time to photo my outfits all take a toll on little old me. However, I'm back and I can't promise it'll be consistent but I promise to do my best!

The first photo is just my favorite tshirt that I personlized with rips and tears and a pair of flares. I find that usually on my days off when I'm able to photograph outfits, I'd rather wear simple, boring clothing not worth photographing. I'm lazy like that.

The next outfit was actually taken on CHRISTMAS EVE, yeah...But that tshirt was the most PERFECT gift ever. And it came from my close friend Ashley who should also blog but also has no time. The insight leggings are from my workplace as well as that blazer which I've had forever. I'm hopefully getting a tripod soon and the weather should start to change which meanssssss....OUTSIDE photos! Yay! Ahh, the things that excite me.

Unintentional Hiatus

Hello all! Sorry it's been way too long. I seem to be a pro at apologizing for my lack of updates nowadays.
Honestly, I cannot find my USB cord to upload photos and it's seriously depressing me...kind of. I promise to buy a new one and provide a plethora of photos for you to look at...if people actually look at this blog. haha. Kidding.

I have an odd sense of humor.

Ode to Summer

Just a quick post before my second team lead interview!! Summer is pretty much at it's end and I'm starting to feel the cool breeze of fall beginning to make it's way through the clouds. This summer was quite a transitional one for me. Lot of ups and downs but my love for fashion and all things Ashley never faltered. Last summer I drooled over 70's era attire and this year I've migrated to grungey, thrifted, vintage, pop music-ish inspired style...if that makes sense. I am an avid thrift store shopper and since then my closet has tripled.

In other exciting news, I'm moving into my first apartment in 4 days! I am beyond excited seeing as the closet takes up an entire wall of the master bedroom. So excited. My living room is pretty much black...with red. I went a little gothic with all the skull decor I've invested in since then. I can't begin to tell you how content and stoked I am to see it all come together. And this also means new photo blog locations! Exciting. No more front/back yard photos. Does this count as a blogger promotion? hmm.

Also, these red shorts aren't going anywhere. They will still have a place in my winter/fall wardrobe. One word: TIGHTS and BOOTS...okay that was two words.
